Frisco is new construction on tight lots: a covered porch off the back of a brick house, a lantern either side, a neighbor's fence a few yards past it. A screen there is sun, insects and privacy in one. We measure, make and install from Farmers Branch, about thirty minutes up the Tollway.

Brick and stone on newer lots, covered porches with cedar posts and wall lanterns, flagstone or paver patios. One screen per opening, surface-mounted on the brick, the tracks set so the lanterns stay where they are.
Light on light, dark for the view.
Black or charcoal on the brick for the view; light fabrics on painted or stone houses. Frames color-matched to the trim for the HOA.

What Frisco homeowners ask us first.
Do I need HOA approval in Frisco?
Usually yes for anything on the exterior, and most associations approve screens on the rear elevation when the frame color matches the trim. We give you a one-page submittal with the frame color, the fabric and a photo of a similar installation, which is what the architectural committee wants to see.
Can the screen go in beside the lanterns?
Yes. The tracks mount on the face of the posts or the brick, and we set them so the lanterns, outlets and hose bibs stay where they are. The measuring visit is where that gets worked out.
Can screens go on a house that is already finished?
Yes, and most of our work is. The housing surface-mounts above the opening and the side tracks go on the face of the posts or jambs, with 120 V brought to the motor end. Recessed, hidden housings are for new construction, planned before the ceiling closes.
How long does it take?
Three to four weeks from the deposit to installation, most of it the screens being made to your measurements in Richardson. Installation is usually a day.
