Preston Hollow patios are long: a covered run along the back of a stone house, a pool and a lawn beyond, and several openings that need to work as one. We screen them in a row, every screen stopped at the same line, and put them on the house system when there is one. We measure, make and install from Farmers Branch, about fifteen minutes away.

Limestone and stone on estate lots, two-story elevations with a long covered patio along the ground floor, arched loggias below a balcony, travertine terraces and pools. The screens run the length of the patio, one per opening or one per arch, dark against the stone or tan to match it.
Light on light, dark for the view.
Dark fabrics on the limestone where the patio looks out over the lawn; tan or alpaca in the arches of a light stone house, so the screens read as part of the facade from the pool.

What Preston Hollow homeowners ask us first.
Can several screens run as one?
Yes. Each opening gets its own screen, and they are grouped so one keypad press or one wind sensor moves the whole elevation together and stops it at the same line.
Can the screens run on the house system?
Yes. Blue Note A/V, our parent company, programs ELAN and Control4, so the screens sit on the same keypads and app as the lighting and the interior shades, with a wind sensor that raises them on its own.
Can screens go on a house that is already finished?
Yes, and most of our work is. The housing surface-mounts above the opening and the side tracks go on the face of the posts or jambs, with 120 V brought to the motor end. Recessed, hidden housings are for new construction, planned before the ceiling closes.
How long does it take?
Three to four weeks from the deposit to installation, most of it the screens being made to your measurements in Richardson. Installation is usually a day.
