What Roanoke homeowners ask us first.
Can one screen cover a whole porch?
Up to 22 1/2 ft on a zipper track, 25 ft recessed. Wider than that, the porch is split at a post so each screen stops at the same line.
Do I need HOA approval in Roanoke?
Usually yes for anything on the exterior, and most associations approve screens on the rear elevation when the frame color matches the trim. We give you a one-page submittal with the frame color, the fabric and a photo of a similar installation, which is what the architectural committee wants to see.
Can screens go on a house that is already finished?
Yes, and most of our work is. The housing surface-mounts above the opening and the side tracks go on the face of the posts or jambs, with 120 V brought to the motor end. Recessed, hidden housings are for new construction, planned before the ceiling closes.
How long does it take?
Three to four weeks from the deposit to installation, most of it the screens being made to your measurements in Richardson. Installation is usually a day.
